Bruce is just under a metre tall, and he's my first male nude portrait in glass. I absolutely adored designing and making him from a photo sent to me by the life model. I had the most extraordinary sheet of mouthblown glass that shifted from vivid blue to green and had so much movement in it- and I loved making the colour shifts that were inherent in that glass flow across Bruce's body, highlight different muscles, and sections. I only had one sheet of this unique glass, so it was nervewracking! 

I used a mixture of lead came sizes- some only 4mm wide, so that you really got a sense of the undulating muscle groups. With the freestanding wooden base also available, Bruce makes the perfect luxurious stained glass artwork -perfect for any collector.

I look forward to seeing Bruce in his is permanent home- and to seeing how the light passes beautifully through the greens and blues.
