Neon Fly Over
Neon Fly Over
So, Easter Sunday needed a customary walk so that a Cadbury’s Creme Egg could be consumed somewhere windy, as is a Kriefman tradition. This year my Partner and I headed along the River Teign, Up amongst the tidal reed beds, and under the ever-so-glamourous A380. We both absolutely loved the combination of reed beds, and river and tree line and fabulous grand pillars holding up the Fly Over.
My partner snapped an image and it’s been playing on my mind for a month or so: I couldn’t resist exploring how those geometric forms might look in glass but I wanted to move away from the grey concrete, tan reeds and oaken tones of an April Morning.
My Partner loves the artwork by @mysteriousburobbu and his neon beasts are so exciting in their colour combinations. Neon Flyover is an exploration of what neon clashes and geometric forms could look like in glass- with a pop of gold!
